MAC Cosmetics Spring 2011 Collection

Like many of you, I've been constantly checking out MAC's website for new collections, receiving email updates, and everything else you can imagine.  My eye has been set on their Jeanius Collection, which is new for the Spring 2011.  Reason is, indigo and purple faceted colors, I believe are bold and different, which makes it exciting and refreshing.

Colors in their lipstick palettes such as "Riveting Rose" and "Pretty Please" are both very different.  They are definitely designed for trendy spring wear, and present either a bold or delicate look.  I'm really loving these right now!

As mentioned on maccosmetics.com, Pretty Please is a pale pink pearl color that's perfect for the delicate at heart.  But if you are one who's daring to try something a bit on the darker side, Riveting Rose is anything but delicate.  As mentioned on maccosmetics.com, Riveting Rose is a deep burgendy color with a hint of blue pearl.  Talk about different!  Hearing burgendy and blue, I am excited to try this one out.

There are 3 colors in total in the lipstick palettes (Acid Washed, Riveting Rose and Pretty Please) but I am going to focus on the two mentioned when I post up my review.

I'm headed to MAC today and can't wait to try these out!  I'll keep you makeup lovers posted!  Until then, stay glamorous!

Hello Beauties! I know I've been gone for a while, but I'm back with a very fun and super easy to do makeup tutorial!
This inspired look is from Vanessa Hudgens Bandslam premiere eye makeup, which is absolutely gorgeous. Like many, I love Ms. Hudgens, so I had to try and mimic this look as much as possible.

I've adjusted this look for beginners, so it's easy to accomplish, and stunning to use for a night out or any other special occasion. Enjoy the video tutorial! I absolutely loved putting it together, and I hope you enjoy it as well! Have a glamorous day ;)

Gaga over Gaga's Viva Glam

 M∙A∙C Cosmetics

Hello my loves!  Today I'm dishing on  M∙A∙C and Lady Gaga's Viva Glam Gaga 2 collaboration.
The Lipstick and Lipglass provides a creamy and nude look.

 M∙A∙C Cosmetics

Viva Glam Lipstick comes in a light, neutral beige which is a shade that shouts "I'm ready for Spring!"
Its sheer and bold at the same time and is extremely long lasting!  I've applied this and had dinner, and amazingly this color was still on my lips. It's very sexy yet subtle, which a combonation like that creates quite the bold statement.
If you are looking for a true nude color, this is it.
The Lipglass which comes in a light sandy neutral shade, I must say is addicting!  It moisturizes, gives a high glossy shine yet is nonsticky all while providing a bold color. I am hooked on this!
What's great about these colors is if you are mostlly an eye makeup person, you can still be daring with the eyes.  The Lipstick and Lipglass are so nude yet bold, that adding an edge with your eyes to complete the look won't seem over done.

Best part about of all this, the monies made from this goes towards  the M∙A∙C AIDS Fund.
I will be providing a review on these colors soon on youtube as well as here.  Till then check these fashion forward colors!

Sigma Beauty <-- For the trendiest tools in makeup, visit this link ;)

This is my first post, and I am so excited to get this started.  I love keeping my hair and makeup up to the most current trends, so why not blog about how I evolve from beginner to (hopefully) expert?  I enjoy styling my hair, trying on makeup, and anything that involves high fashion - so this would be the perfect start.
Most photos on this site are all that I've done.  Since I'm just starting out, I usually just do makeup on my own face, but this will change soon as I've asked some volunteers to let me use their face as a canvas :)
I also review Sigma Beauty products - which are absolutely fabulous!

I love their brushes, I'll post a review of them up soon (I'm getting my mac book next week) along with many other tutorials.  I usually emphasise on the eyes when I do makeup, and hope to expand to other parts of the face as well.

Until next time, stay glamorous ;)
